Targeted at City Commuting

Zero Motorcycles has unveiled a new electric motorcycle, the FXE, that drives like a rocket on two wheels.  Specifically designed for city commuting, it can hit speeds up to 85 mph and has a range of 100 city miles on a single charge.  It is priced at $11,750.

Tech Specs

FXE is driven by what's called a "brushless" motor that produces 46 horsepower and 78 pound-feet of torque.  The motor is connected to a 7.2 kHw lithium ion battery.  There is a 5 inch color screen that displays vitals like the charge amount left in the EV.  There are LED lights in the front and back of the bike.  It also contains the capability to connect to Zero's mobile app.  The app enables the owner to reconfigure the bike and the drive mode to their liking.  California based Zero is a big contender in the electric motorcycle market and this new e-bike is making quite a splash with its zero emissions.  To take a look at Edward Kane's  latest book "New Travel Concepts", go to ASIN ‏ : ‎ B098PH12XB.    I co-authored the book with Ed.
