164 Foot Yacht with a 3-Story Vertical Garden
Barcelona based design studio Hidden Portside has created a magnificent, sustainable, zero emissions, electric, 164 foot, electric superyacht concept. It is called Naboo and combines a sleek and elegant futuristic design with electric propulsion and eco-friendly furnishings. And uniquely the yacht has a 3 story vertical garden that beautifully connects its 3 decks. Hidden Port calls the Naboo "sustainable luxury....relying on the innovations of the future."
Inspired by Star Wars
Naboo the superyacht is inspired by Star Wars' fictional planet Naboo that is filled with lush greenery. The yacht contains a beautiful, sumptuous array of various greenery. Hidden Portside used what they call a "ring concept" to create a more rounded sense of flow onboard the yacht rather straight linear lines. The yacht is loaded with sustainable luxuries. At the center on the main deck is a 1000 sq. ft. inner patio with a bar/lounge and the soaring vertical garden that connects the 3 decks. A zen beach club is one deck above with its own bar and jacuzzi, along with a "Chef's House", where guests can watch the art of meal preparation. There are also 4 cabins to accommodate up to 8 guests. The bridge deck contains a luxurious master cabin with a 355 foot terrace. There's also a Captain's cabin on the deck next to the helm. The lower deck has a 26 foot garage and plenty of storage space. There are also folding platforms for easy access to the ocean.
No Carbon Footprint and Smart Luxury
Despite the size and luxurious lifestyle this vessel offers, there is no carbon footprint. It is powered by a fully electric propulsion system and contains solar panels on the roof. To absorb excessive heat and excessive use of air conditioning, there are smart PCM's (Phase Change Materials) to absorb heat. The vessel's recycled aluminum hull and superstructure has been coated with ultra-reflective metallic paint that repels UV rays and keeps things cool inside. It is by far the ultimate, sustainable superyacht.
