Awesome, Breakthrough Technology
This Cadillac concept car could be your new inner space. At CES 2022, Cadillac introduced a new, electric, autonomous car concept called InnerSpace that is a highly innovative perspective on the future of mobility and driving. Designed for two passengers, the EV is very sleek, futuristic, aerodynamically-styled and low to the ground. In essence, it is a personal luxury lounge on wheels that drives itself and provides the passengers with fascinating, artificial intelligence enabled, digital technologies. It is Cadillac's unique look at the future of driving that could be rolled out in the next decade. They say it is the start of zero crashes, zero emissions and zero congested driving with the confluence of brand-new technologies.
Highly Advanced, Unique, Automotive Technologies
Cadillac is GM's premier platform for new autonomous, zero emissions and digital technologies. The InnerSpace concept showcases where GM and Cadillac think that your future of driving is going. It is electric, autonomous and we are all passengers. The car is a driving entertainment center. AI-driven biometric input and interfaces are accessible through a huge LED display that spans the interior front of the car. The passengers can choose entertainment, augmented reality (AR) engagement or wellness themes for their autonomous ride as they travel on their journey. This EV is fitted with Cadillac's Ultife system that allows Cadillac to add more themes and features to the vehicle remotely "over the air".
More Exciting Tech
The EV uses GM's Ultium platform that allows the battery packs to be spread out throughout the vehicle. That creates more cabin space and enables the extremely low, sports car like design and seating position of the car. You get into the car by opening the doors and pop-up glass roof. This vehicle has tremendous amounts of glass on the hood and sides for maximum visibility for the passengers. It's also eco-friendly. The tires are made of soybean oil and rice husk-based silica. The tires have Sound Comfort and Sightline tech that provide the owner with critical performance information. There are also digital side mirrors. The wheels are flashy. The 2 passenger seats pivot for easy entrance and exit. It sounds like the ultimate self-driving machine.
PlayStation Controllers
This fascinating new Cadillac contains no steering wheel or pedals. There is the option to take over the controls and piloting it with a PlayStation controller. There is no indication of if or when Cadillac may put the stunning new vehicle into production. But many experts believe that some of the features are so compelling, they will be in electric and electric-autonomous Cadillacs of the future.
