Lincoln's Greener Future
Ford's luxury brand Lincoln is building its electric future with three new EVs by 2025. The Lincoln Star concept, just unveiled, provides a great perspective on what that future will look like. The new, medium sized crossover SUV is an expression of Lincoln's design, styling and technology perspectives that awaits public input on their favorites for the electric Lincoln of their dreams.
What You Want to Know About the Concept
The Star's style is long and low. The EV can be formulated as a 2-row or 3-row SUV. The interior is spacious and loaded with glass for unobstructed views. The front of the vehicle has no traditional grille. Instead, there is a lightshow with a full-length LED system of lights. As there is no combustion engine under the front hood the frunk (front trunk) has diamond shaped lattice etching that lead up to a clear center. The opening is composed of electro-chromatic glass that can be changed to opaque with the push of a button. The beautifully contoured and sleek body is built for aerodynamics in order to maximize the EV's range.
Your Technology Cocoon
The Star shines with its new technologies. The front dashboard has a full-width curved screen. There is a virtual assistant on hand in the EV to assist the driver and passengers. And there are 3, rejuvenation modes with a choice of audio, lighting and scents to set the right mood of relaxation for the journey. To facilitate conversations, the EV's seats can swivel 180 degrees and the interior is simply luxurious. Star is Lincoln's important concept look at a very green, technologically rich, stylish and luxurious driving future.
