  • The new Hammer Edition Bronco is a Ford Bronco elevated to top race car performance level 
  • Developed by Fox Factory Performance Vehicles along with the co-founder of the famed King of the Hammers (KOH) Race and award-winning race car driver Jason Scherer
  • Fox Factory will produce a limited number of the Hammer Edition Bronco & sell them through selected Ford dealerships
  • The new Broncos have been significantly upgraded for intense desert racing and very rugged rock climbing
  • The new vehicles are equipped with FOX shocks, BDS suspension, JKS components and very high clearance bumpers
  • Likely powertrain is the twin-turbocharged, 3.0-liter V6 Ecoboost motor with 418 hp and 440 lb-ft of torque

 HAILING AN AUTONOMOUS AMAZON TAXI

  • Amazon, through its autonomous vehicle subsidiary Zoox, has dispatched the world's 1st robotaxis with passengers onboard, on public roads in California, with no manual controls inside the EV
  • Amazon is developing a fleet of driverless taxis for public transit
  • The company is testing the driverless vehicles between Zoox buildings with Zoox employees onboard in California
  • The Zoox EVs can carry up to 4 people, at speeds up to 35 mph with totally autonomous left & right turns, avoidance of vehicles, pedestrians & objects & much more
  • Zoox vehicles are totally electric and autonomous with no steering wheel, no pedals and no manual controls
  • Amazon's deployment of autonomous taxis is a milestone for the autonomous vehicle industry and will be expanded for further technology refinements over the next several months, after which you may be able to hail your Amazon taxi ride.


CHINA'S DRUG SNIFFING SQUIRRELS

  • China is developing the world's first squad of drug-sniffing squirrels to join their police departments and police dogs to fight drug use
  • To start the innovative program, 6 red squirrels are in training to sniff out drugs
  • Squirrels have many advantages over dogs, including the fact that they are small, agile, can reach tiny places & have a tremendous sense of smell
  • These particular squirrels have been trained to use their claws to scratch boxes with possible drugs inside to alert their handlers
  • This is the world's first group of drug-sniffing squirrels
  • They are already deployed in training missions in warehouses and storage units sniffing boxes, containers and more
  • China says the squirrel training protocol they are using can be deployed for many other animals
  • US Department of Defense has tried to use bees to detect bombs
  • Cambodia has successfully trained rats to detect buried explosives.
