CITROEN'S ELECTRIC CONCEPT CAR OLI
- France-based Citroen and BASF have developed a new, minimalist electric concept car, Oli
- The quirky styled EV is built for sustainable & affordable mobility
- For Citroen, Oli is a statement about the future of driving: lighter, smaller, more aerodynamic electric cars for longer range
- Oli's top speed is 68 mph
- It has a 40 kWh battery that provides 248 miles of range on a charge
- Very innovative design with many components 3-D printed
- Mobile phone can plug into dashboard and automatically connects to the vehicle
- Expected to go on sale by 2030 with a starting price of $26,735
- Citroen CEO Vincent Cobee believes we are moving to a post-SUV world in which low height, lightweight vehicles designed to achieve maximum efficiency from their electric powertrains will dominate.
NEW TECH TO BETTER COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR DOG
- New, innovative dog buttons are designed to bring communications between dogs and their owners to the next level
- The communications systems contain 4 to 8 recordable buttons to enable your dog to communicate what it wants, such as the need to go outside, to play or get a treat
- The new technological approach is reported to be great for basic training and also to develop a new communications channel for the dog
- The owner records on the buttons, using whatever words they want to teach the dog to indicate what they need by pressing the right button
- The buttons can be grouped by category to simplify the learning process for the dog
- A number of these talking dog button system are available including MeWoofun, FluentPet and Goplemo, all on Amazon
- These pet communications systems are also said to work for cats.
HIGHLY INNOVATIVE, SHARK-INSPIRED WATERCRAFT
- A shark-inspired new watercraft can carry 4 to 6 passengers both on the water and up to 5 feet underwater
- Jet Shark, which is worthy of secret agent 007 James Bond, can launch from underwater and do mid-air tricks

- Developed by New Zealand watercraft makers, Jet Shark
- Estimated cost $200,000 to $300,000
- 20-feet long, semi-submersible, highly innovative watercraft.
