  • Chinese scientists have used stem cell technology to grow mini-antlers on the foreheads of mice
  • This scientific breakthrough could enable humans to regrow lost limbs
  • The scientists achieved this breakthrough by transplanting, to the mice, stem cells from deer, which regrow their antlers every year, thanks to stem cells at the base of the antlers
  • The hope is that this procedure could help repair bones and cartilage and even regrow lost limbs in humans
  • The research was done by scientists at Northwest Polytechnical University in Xi'an, China
  • Experts say these results could have significant benefits for regenerative medicine in treating skeletal injuries and limb regeneration.
