E-PLANE MAEVE 01 COULD BE A GLOBAL GAME CHANGER
- A global coalition of aviation experts, commercial airline carriers and TU Delft University of the Netherlands are developing an all-electric plane, Maeve 01, that could be a gamechanger in zero emissions passenger flying
- Maeve is a regional electric carrier capable of carrying 44 passengers and provides a range of 250 miles, which opens a great deal of city-to-city travel for it
- The gamechanger with Maeve is its quick recharge system called Maeve ReCharge, which is a single module providing recharge in just 35 minutes - about the same time as refueling a conventional jet
- Maeve is all-electric, zero emissions and is beginning intensive testing
- There are already 20 commercial aircraft carrier orders for Maeve, which expects to be fully commercial in 2030.
