STARGAZER - YOUR HYPERSONIC PASSENGER FLIGHT

                                                        Source - Venus Aerospace

  • Houston, Texas based Venus Aerospace is developing Stargazer, a passenger jet designed to fly from New York to Tokyo in one hour
  • Venus is making progress developing Stargazer as it continues to successfully go through a series of critical engine testing
  • The hypersonic jet will carry 12 passengers, to altitudes of 170,000 feet and travel at Mach 9 or more than 9-times the speed of sound or 6,905 mph
  • Aircraft is relatively compact at 150-feet in length by 100-feet wide
  • Powered by a rotating detonation engine which performs 20,000 rotations per second at supersonic speeds
  • Engine burns 20% less fuel than conventional engines
  • Takes off with conventional engines and then transitions to rockets for speed at the edge of space
  • Stargazer, which has no target date for deployment yet, is moving forward in development and will now begin a series of critical flight tests in its prototype form
  • This new hypersonic technology could bring any destination within an one-hour hypersonic plane ride.

AI CAPABLE OF READING YOUR MIND

  • There's been a very significant breakthrough in AI - the capability to read your mind
  • Scientists at the University of Texas Austin have developed an AI based decoder that translates brain activity into a continuous flow of text
  • In essence, a person's thoughts are being read non-invasively for the 1st time by large language model AI, the same technology behind ChatBot
  • The team achieved this by using fMRI data
  • This appears to be highly significant scientific innovation, with highly significant implications, including legal issues of privacy and ethical issues of using AI to read minds
  • There are also some big potential benefits, including the potential of helping to restore speech to those who have lost it to paralysis or brain disease
  • This is yet another example of the vast potentialities of AI.

ARE ALIENS CONTACTING EARTH?

  • For sometime there has been a worldwide research effort searching for repeat radio signals frequency called "The Search For Extra Terrestrial Intelligence"
  • The Center for Radio Astronomy Research (ICRAR) at Curtin University in Australia seems to have spotted a mysterious object that recently has been sending repeat radio signals
  • Signals that repeat every 18 minutes are coming from a spinning object 4000 light years away
  • Scientists say the mysterious object is unlike anything else ever seen in space
  • The ICRAR team of scientists believe this may be proof of extra terrestrial life
  • Conversely one wonders if aliens are picking up our radio signals and concluding there might be life on Earth.
