SUPERCONDUCTOR BREAKTHROUGH THAT COULD CHANGE THE WORLD

Source: William and Mary Levitating Superconductor

                                                                 Super:  Stock Superconductors
  • Physicists from the College of William and Mary and South Korea's Quantum Energy Research Center have discovered what appears to be the Holy Grail of superconductors
  • It doesn't experience electrical resistance and can operate at room temperature and ambient air pressure
  • Called LK-99, it does not require extreme cold and extreme high pressure to work like current systems do
  • Experts say if this is true, the new superconductor will change the world
  • It will unlock new, highly advanced technologies, at much lower costs, in
  1. Computers
  2. Wireless communications
  3. Transportation
  4. Healthcare
  5. Energy
  6. Fusion reactors and more
  • This new discovery has been published, but not peer reviewed as of yet by top physicists
  • There is some skepticism in scientific circles because of similar claims in the past that proved untrue
  • The new superconductor is composed of lead, oxygen, sulfur and phosphorus and according to the research team allows electricity to pass through virtually unimpeded
  • If the superconductor proves to work when vetted by experts, it could be the biggest physics discovery of our times and likely merit a Nobel Prize.

  • The streaming platform is called NASA+ and will be launched sometime this summer
  • It's free and will not be interrupted by ads
  • NASA says it's space on demand and provides the Universe at your fingertips
  • It will feature content like live NASA Mission broadcasts, all things space and original videos
  • It's available through NASA iOS and Android apps on mobile devices
  • It can be accessed on desktop, mobile devices and on-demand through Apple TV, Fire TV and Roku
  • NASA is also reinvigorating its entire digital presence including its website to provide top quality digital journeys to space for viewers.
