- Mazda just unveiled, through patent filings with the US Patent Office, a revolutionary new, rotary sports car with amazing swappable batteries
- The vehicle is a first of its kind and the new technologies that make it revolutionary have been granted US patent protection
- Here are the key details:
- Unique hybrid drivetrain with a rotary engine and 3 electric motors
- 2 different types of electric motors that are said to deliver power and a driving experience unlike any other hybrid
- User-swappable batteries
- 4 battery modules behind the 2 front seats
- 925 watt-hours per battery module
- Power electronics capable of boosting voltage
- Mazda says the system can significantly boost range and keep the vehicle lightweight
- Main magnet motor is mounted to the back of the engine and is supplemented by 2 induction motors, with one attached to each front wheel
- Automotive enthusiasts hope that Mazda puts this vehicle into production as it promises to provide a dynamic and exciting new kind of drive.

- Capable of moving at 2 to 3 mph and has a 360-degree view

- Capabilities include video streaming, recording and thermal imaging
- SAM is capable of working in any weather condition
- SAM is the invention of California-based Knightscope robotics company and is gaining autonomous security guard contracts globally.
AI CREATING 3D WORLDS FROM 2D VIDEOS
- Software giant NVIDIA has created an AI program that can create complex 3D objects and structures from 2D videos
- Creating 3D, multifaceted, complex structures is one of the biggest challenges for AI to tackle

- Called Neuralangelo - blending Michelangelo and neural
- The software program, that uses neural networks, can create lifelike virtual replicas of sculptures, buildings, and a vast array of 3D structures and objects

- Neuralangelo is considered a huge breakthrough and huge opportunity in the emerging uses of AI.
