  • SnapChat Augmented Reality product developer Kyle Goodrich has created DreamGenerator, a small camera that can transform photos into themed images via generative AI
  • Here's what we know:
  • Generative AI, which is what DreamGenerator uses, is the new frontier of photography
  • DreamGenerator uses 30 themed images to transform your photos into AI generated works of art
  • Themed images offered include:
  1. Pirates
  2. Wild West
  3. Dinosaurs
  4. Fairytales
  5. 26 others
  • Although small, inside the camera is a Raspberry Pi computer that uses Stable Diffusion and ControlNet to transform the images instantaneously
  • AI camera is at the prototype stage and is specifically designed to be very easy to operate
  • DreamGenerator is a small point and shoot camera with big generative AI capabilities.

  • Honda has developed a Next-generation CR-V, one of the most popular, mainstream and moderately priced models in its lineup, that's powered by hydrogen
  • Here are the key details:
  1. Plug-in powertrain with state-of-the-art hydrogen fuel cell that enables zero-emissions driving
  2. Innovative new, high pressure, hydrogen storage system specifically designed for CR-V
  3. Very quick refueling time like a gas fill-up
  4. Range equivalent to a combustion engine
  5. Sleek, aerodynamic design to maximize efficiency
  6. Advanced infotainment system and safety technology are being finalized for the vehicle
  7. Release in 2024
  8. The new CR-V will be the first car available in the US with this hydrogen fuel cell, powertrain technology.

  • South Korean roboticists at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology (KAIST) are developing Pibot, a humanoid robot that uses Large Language Model AI, like ChatGPT in its programming, to fly any type of plane
  • Robo pilots like this are a likely part of the future of flying
  • Here's what we know about Pibot:
  1. Powered by highly advanced AI - LLM and breakthrough robotics
  2. Articulated arms and fingers to handle the controls without modifying the controls and cabin, which are designed for humans
  3. Pibot has camera eyes to monitor internal controls and external conditions
  4. Huge memory capacity
  5. Said to perform flawlessly: as good as and even better than human pilots
  6. 5&1/4 feet tall and weighs 143 pounds
  • This extraordinary innovation in robotics is expected to be completed by 2026 and will be ready to welcome us onboard.
