CONCEPT CAR IS A LAB ON WHEELS

  • Called Experimental ASTRA Gazing, the experimental concept car by British automaker Vauxhall that's now owned by Stellantis, is a technology laboratory on wheels and a showcase for the potential of cars 5 years into the future
  • Here are some fascinating components:
  1. Full windshield heads-up display that uses augmented projection technology, supported by AI and controlled by voice
  2. Mirrors replaced by cameras
  3. Lidar, radar and camera systems
  4. Electro-chromatic windows that go from transparent to opaque for privacy
  5. Folding steering wheel for autonomous driving
  6. Office furniture style seats
  • Basic EV Tech Specs:
  1. All electric powertrain with 2 electric motors
  2. 330 mile range
  3. 2WD or 4WD
  4. Very aerodynamic with air ducts in front, rear diffuser and very smooth body
  5. Air flaps on the wheels close to deflect air around the car and open to cool the brakes
  6. Solar cells on the roof to add range
  • This concept car will debut in early September at IAA Mobility in Munich
  • Vauxhall calls it "progressive British" and adds that many of the new innovations it contains will find their way into production.

  • CHATGPT technology is rapidly playing vital roles across industries and now it is forecast to empower AI bots as our next car salespersons by 2025
  • Here are the facts:
  1. The CEO of Swedish AI tech company Phyron forecasts AI bot car salespeople that will be very effective in the role by 2025
  2. CEO Johan Sundstrand says it is inevitable and only a matter of time - perhaps in 18 months
  3. Phyron has developed the world's 1st, fully automated, AI powered video solutions, including ads, for the automotive industry, using AI software and algorithms
  4. He claims AI videos bring in car sales 3 to 5 days faster and drive 50% more traffic
  5. BMW and 2000 other automotive-related companies are using the AI videos
  6. Sundstrand believes that AI bots will give the industry a competitive edge and greater efficiency
  • Major automakers like GM are testing ways to use ChatGPT to interface with customers and potential customers.
