- California-based Alef Aeronautics says it will be delivering its flying and driving cars to consumers in 2025
- Here's what we know:
- All-electric, 2-seat flying and driving car called Model A
- Vertical takeoff and landing like a helicopter
- Takes off vertically and then turns on its side for forward flight
- First flying car cleared by the FAA for flying and driving tests on the road and in the air
- Range of 300 km on land
- Range of 177 km in the air
- 8 rotors
- Carbon fiber body with open mesh top that houses 4 propellers on each side
- No pilot's license needed
- Company says it will go into production and deliver the flying cars in 2025
- Can get on the waiting list for $150.00 deposit
- Current price is $300,000.00
- Company targets offering a $35,000 Model Y by 2030
- Alef is backed by investor Tim Draper, who was also an early investor in Tesla and Space X.
TIPSY ROBOTS WORKING LAS VEGAS
