CHINA MAKES HISTORY WITH FLYING TAXI





  • China has given flying car maker Ehang the world's first full, aviation authority approval to fly passengers in fully autonomous air taxis.  Here are the facts:
  1. Ehang is the world's 1st flying taxi to get full certification to fly
  2. Certification is to fly in China
  3. EH216-S AAV is fully operational, fully autonomous and carries 2 passengers
  4. Company says it will expand operations beyond China in 2024
  5. Vehicle is an eVTOL
  6. Ehang is Guangzhou, China based and is US-listed
  7. Ehang is now deciding what cities to start service 
  8. China's airworthiness approval will make it easier to get okays from the US, Europe and Southeast Asia for commercial operations
  9. Ehang has 1200 orders for its vehicles from outside of China
  10. Ehang has a market cap of $1 billion and its share price has doubled this year.

  • Infiniti's first EV will debut October 24, 2023.  Here's what we know:
  1. Named Infiniti Vision Qe
  2. It previews what Infiniti's first series-produced EVs will look like in coming years
  3. Likely to be a battery electric crossover
  4. Thought to ride on same MF-EV platform as Nissan's Aryia
  5. Probably offers more power and range than the Aryia
  6. Details have yet to be revealed.
