  • Northwestern University, MIT and University of Vermont researchers have created a breakthrough AI system capable of creating robots from scratch and in record time.  Here's what we know:
  1. This AI system is capable of generating totally new robots, not replicating existing ones, in a few seconds
  2. The researchers asked their AI system to create a robot that can walk on land and it provided a blueprint in a few seconds
  3. This system is capable of operating on a personal computer and doesn't need an energy intensive supercomputer or large dataset
  4. The researchers call the AI system "instant evolution" because it creates new robots that never existed before in an instant
  5. They believe their process will be able to create all types of robots including those for search & rescue, sewer & pipe repair, nanorobots for cancer treatment and much more
  6. This new AI system has all the earmarks of a big advancement in AI and robotics.

  • Sweden-based Clean Motion's EVIG was just unveiled in Milan and it ushers in a new form of solar-powered delivery vehicles.  Here's what we know:
  1. Swedish EV maker Clean Motion just debuted its solar-powered, urban delivery vehicle with Italy-based electric mobility solutions distributor X-Raam
  2. EVIG is tailored for dense urban environments and last mile deliveries
  3. Solar roof provides extended range
  4. Vehicle has zero emissions
  5. The 2 companies have big plans for the e-vehicle and for 50 EV mobility stores to start in major metro areas of Italy
  6. They say the demand for EVs particularly in urban areas is booming.

  • NASA has awarded a $60 million contract to a construction technology company to build a home on the Moon.  Here's what we know:
  1. The home to be built would be used by us - ordinary American citizens paying to go on a space trip
  2. NASA wants it built by 2040
  3. Austin, Texas-based ICON, which is a leader in 3-D printed housing construction, has won the contract
  4. This will be the world's 1st, off-Earth Airbnb on the Moon for civilians
  5. NASA wants to do the same building on Mars
  6. NASA is also working with other companies and universities to build doors, tiles and furniture for future homes for us on the Moon.
  • What great new space adventures and vacations to dream about!
