- Hundreds of dogs in multiple states in the US have been hit by a severe and mysterious respiratory illness. Veterinarians are racing to determine the cause. Here's what we know:
- It's a severe respiratory illness that can lead to pneumonia and in some cases death

- 200 cases in Oregon alone
- Much more severe and lasts longer than kennel cough
- Resistant to and can't be treated by common antibiotics
