FUTURE OF ELECTRIC SPORTS CARS: MORGAN'S XP-1

- British sports car company Morgan has just revealed a 3-wheel, electric, experimental prototype car that foreshadows the future of electric sports cars. Here's what we know:
- It is based on the Morgan Super 3 three wheeler
- It's a remarkably lightweight, battery powered test model that Morgan will use to develop powertrains and driving characteristics for electric Morgans
- Designed for aerodynamic efficiencies
- Lightweight roadster true to its British Morgan roots
- Has a small 33 kWh electric battery and weighs about 1400 pounds
- Can travel about 150 miles on a charge
- Powertrain produces 134 hp delivered to the rear wheel
- Currently in extensive testing
- When the XP-1 is considered ready for production, its likely starting price will be above the Super 3's $54,000
- Looks like a sporty green way to travel into the future of lightweight EVs offering greater efficiency and longer range.

- Bottomline line: your message will be immediately deleted after the recipient receives it.

- According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the hottest and fastest growing job category in the US over the next decade is wind turbine technicians. Here's what we know:
- Wind turbine technician employment will increase 45% over the next decade
- Category has faster job growth than any other occupation
- Experienced techs make $80,000
- No college degree needed
- Job growth is being spurred by demand for green energy, demand for lower carbon emissions and the Biden Administration's renewable energy policies.
