MORE POWERFUL, EFFICIENT eVTOL TO FLY
- Overair's Butterfly eVTOL is ready to test fly and it may set a new benchmark for flying taxis. Here are some key facts:
- Developer is California startup Overair, whose parent company Karem Aircraft has been building vertical lift vehicles for the US military for 20 years
- Carries a pilot and 5 passengers plus their luggage
- Top speed: 200 mph
- Range: 100 miles
- Company claims to lead the industry in noise reduction at less than 55 decibels
- Propulsion: 3 bladed rotors; 2 on the wings and 1 on the tail
- Rotars tilt from horizontal to vertical position for vertical or horizontal flight
- Big differentiator: Big rotors that are 20 feet wide designed to produce more power, efficiency and range than competing flying taxis
- The propellers are 2-times the size of any other eVTOL
- All electric and zero emissions
- Butterfly now is starting extensive flight tests
- It's an eVTOL designed for uses like passenger, cargo and medical treatment travel
- This is of interest to investors to watch and do their own due diligence on.
WORLD'S MOST POWERFUL HUMANOID ROBOT
- A Chinese company has unveiled what they're calling the world's most powerful humanoid robot. Here's what we know:
- Robot is called H1
- Said to be a stunning example of innovation and engineering
- Developer is Unitree Robotics, a leading developer of legged robots in China
- H1 can outperform humans in strength
- 5'11" tall and weighs 100 pounds
- Advanced powertrain with very high levels of speed, flexibility and power
- Walks at 3.4 mph
- Very strong and can withstand strong human kicks and pushes while maintaining its balance
- For vision it has 3D LiDAR sensor and depth camera
- Fully functional - can carry objects, open doors, talk, gesture and engage in conversations
- Costs $150,000. and can be pre-ordered for delivery in 2024.
