WORLD'S 1ST 4-in-1 HOME HEALTH CHECKUP IN THE PALM OF YOUR HAND

- It's called BeamO and it's the world's 1st multiscope that can measure, at home, vital health data normally collected by your GP in the doctor's office. Here's what we know:
- Patients can do a doctor check-up from home via the 4-in-one multiscope
- Takes less than a minute
- BeamO is a handheld device that uses a range of sensors
- BeamO was developed by France-based digital health company Withings
- For the first time, ECG, stethoscope, thermometer and oximeter are contained in a small device to monitor vitals, heart and lung function at home
- Device is portable and smaller than a cell phone
- Performs non-invasive scan of the temporal artery by stethoscope, pulse oximeter, ECG and thermometer
- It can carry out testing for example on:
- Heartrate
- ECG
- Measures bloodpressure
- Takes temperature
- Alerts you of infection and areas of concern
- Detects cardio issues such as atrial fibrillation
- It automatically records all vitals
- It will be available in the US after FDA approval for about $250.
- Available elsewhere in June 2024 for about $250.
- The company is calling it a transformative device that will be revolutionary by enabling in-home health checkups
- Just unveiled at CES 2024.
HYUNDAI - SUPERNAL NEW FLYING TAXI
- Hyundai and its air mobility group Supernal just unveiled their flying taxi, the Supernal S-A2, at CES 2024. Here's what we know:
- eVTOL that carries a pilot and 4 passengers
- Hyundai calls it where "Auto meets Aero"
- Range - 25 to 40 miles
- Cruising speed - up to 120 mph
- Powered by 8 tilting rotors
- To takeoff, front 4 rotors face skyward and back 4 rotors face downward
- For safety, numerous redundancies, including 8 separate battery units
- Said to operate as quietly as a dishwasher
- Design is masterful and inspired, in part, by bees
- Hyundai-Supernal hope to have it on the market by 2028.
