  • Monaco-based Searider has created a breakthrough new electric jetski that rides the waves like a motorcycle.  Here's what we know:
  • The company's first model is Searacer with these specs:
  1. Weighs only 143 pounds
  2. Lightest jet ski on the market
  3. Called Motorcycle of the Seas
  4. It's electric with no emissions
  5. Has electric dual motors
  6. Next lightest model weighs 428 pounds (Sea-Dog Spark)
  7. Speeds up to 48 mph
  8. Has removable battery pack that enables 50 minutes of ride time
  9. Can be pre-ordered for $30,000
  • Second model coming out is the Seacruiser with theses specs:
  1. Can travel for 90 minutes before needing a recharge
  2. Top speed of 34 mph
  3. Has a curved body design
  4. Weighs 11 pounds more than Searacer
  5. Seacruiser can be preordered for about $25,000

  • This is a new, fun way to navigate the high seas without polluting.

                                                                    Source:  Genesis

  • South Korean automaker Genesis just unveiled a stunning, new concept EV designed to provide strong performance in cold weather.  Here's what we know:
  • Freezing temperatures are notorious for sapping battery range on EVs and slowing their recharge time
  • Hyundai's Genesis has a new concept car with technology that could end that problem
  • It's called Genesis X Snow Speedium
  • Company says it provides "strength and performance" no matter the temperature
  • New concept vehicle is part of the X series
  • Genesis has not detailed the battery technology behind the claim
  • Genesis does say their new technology and the car's elegant design are the future of Genesis EVs
  • This brand-new concept is creating a great deal of interest in the automotive industry primarily because of the big EV weather issue that it addresses
  • One question:  are we at the beginning of a seasonal car trend?
