  • The 500-mile trip between Toronto and Montreal will take one hour
  • The "Flux Jet" trains will levitate through vacuum tubes and be powered by plasma
  • It will travel at the speed of a commercial jet's cruising speed
  • TransPod is already developing a 186-mile line between Calgary and Edmonton for $18 billion

  • Sony's President unveiled their new EV Afeela at CES 2024 by using a Playstation controller to drive it onto the stage.  It made quite a splash!! Here are some key facts:
  • Afeela is a partnership between Sony and Honda, called Sony Honda Mobility, to transform the EV industry
  • The new EV concept was driven onto the CES stage via a remote DuelSense controller
  • The capability of driving the car remotely was remarkable but it was an event just for CES 2024; it's not expected to be present in the EV when it hits the market
  • Sony is also working with Microsoft to have AI incorporated into Afeela by the time it hits global markets.
