- ORo Dog Companion robot is designed to smooth and entertain your dog when you're away. Here's what we know:
- It provides communication, play and comfort to dogs who are left alone
- ORo is a smart bot nanny with AI and it's autonomous
- It has 2-way audio/video capability so you can interact with your dog
- It has a built-in treat dispenser to reward good behavior
- Additionally it has an automatic food bowl release you can schedule for your dog's regular feeding time
- ORo can throw a ball so your dog can play fetch
- It can navigate your home autonomously via an advanced camera and Lidar-based mapping system to follow your pet
- ORo's advanced AI learning system helps it to get to know your pet and its behavioral patterns, sensing distress or a desire to play
- It also tracks your pet's healthcare information telling you when it's due for medication like a rabies shot
- ORo was developed by Ogmen Robotics, a private company based in Delhi, India
- ORo costs $799. and will start shipping to buyers in April.
HOT NEW FLYING CARS

- China's EV maker XPeng has unveiled a breakthrough flying car AeroHT designed to fly over road traffic with its huge propellers that shoot out from the roof. Here's what we know:
- XPeng is the largest EV manufacturer in China
- AeroHT is being called an "eVTOL flying supercar"
- Company says the vehicle seamlessly goes from a driving to flying car
- Key differentiator: propellers that when needed shoot out of the vehicle for takeoff and flying over traffic
- No information on pricing, but company says it will be similar in price to a luxury performance car
- Company expects the initial use will be in more rural areas because of the regulatory approvals needed for travel in urban areas
- Can be pre-ordered in Q4 2024 for delivery in 2025
- At CES 2024, XPeng also debuted its "Land Aircraft Carrier" with its own eVTOL that launches from the car
- Ground vehicle accommodates 4 to 5 passengers
- Has an extended range electric powertrain that can recharge the eVTOL
- 3 axle, 6-wheel configuration enables 6x6 all-wheel drive and rear wheel steering
- Air module is an eVTOL with autonomous and manual flight modes and has a 2-person cockpit with 270-degree panoramic views
- XPeng says the Land Aircraft Carrier will enter production in 2025.
