It's called mental representation.  And it's quite a breakthrough in understanding how our best friends think. Here are some key findings from the research: This new research documents for the first time that our dogs truly do understand our words and how their minds process it in responding to human language Like when Ed said to his Weim Brewster "Go get your ball" how did he comprehend and get it so we could play and fetch? The University of Stavanger in Norway and ELTE University of Budapest team put non-invasive EEG tech on dogs' heads to track their brains' electrical impulses to words from their owners like Ball They worked wi

It also chemically breaks-down air pollutants. And the paint is longer lasting. Here's what we know: European scientists have developed a nanoparticle composed of titanium oxide+ that creates self-cleaning paint It can be added to any commercially available paint The nanoparticles are photo-catalytically active and can trigger cleaning when touched by sunlight The scientists are from TU Wien in Vienna and Universita Polytecnia delle Marche in Italy They say their painted wall solution destroys indoor pollution in the air, makes the air cleaner and the wall cleans itself They add the paint is also much longer lasting The team is conducting more testing but they intend to commercialize i
