DORONI'S PRODUCTION READY FLYING CAR
Source: Doroni
- Miami-based urban air mobility startup Doroni Aerospace has unveiled a production ready, personal flying car, the H1X. People could be flying this personal flying machine in 2025. Here are some key facts:
- H1X is an eVTOL, an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing vehicle
- 2-seat personal aircraft
- Unique tandem wing configuration with the propellers built into the wing
- 4 ducted fans provide lift and forward propulsion
- Top speed is 120 mph
- Range of 40 miles; up to 45 minutes flight time
- Can takeoff from a driveway and fit in a 2-car garage
- Intelligent, autonomous navigation system
- Controlled by a joystick and semi-autonomous flying
- Company working with FAA on full certification, likely as an ultralight aircraft
- Already cleared by the FAA for flightworthiness
- First customers could get their H1X's in 2025
- Goes into mass production in 2026
- Prototype being built with extensive flight testing set for later this year
- Maximum payload of 500 pounds
- Looks like a new way to commute.
NASA SPOTS BIZARRE CLOUD FORMATIONS OVER FLORIDA
- NASA has spotted and documented a bizarre chain of clouds linked to UFO reports over the Florida Keys. Here's what we know:
- Cloud chain spotted northwest of the Florida Keys
- Clouds shaped like UFOs
- Ironically clouds also linked to UFO sightings
- So unusual NASA posted the images
- Most likely they were Cavum clouds or hole punch clouds
- Fairly rare occurrence formed when planes fly over small, patchy clouds between 7,000 and 23,000 feet
- The water vapor in the clouds is supercooled but not to the point of ice
- Incredible sight
- Scientists are using advanced satellite imagery, weather modelling and flight patterns to determine if it was a natural or other-worldly phenomenon, but likely culprit is Cavum clouds not UFO's.
