A FLYING MINIVAN

  • When you're late taking your kids to school, you'll soon be able to hop into your flying minivan, take flight and make it on time! Luft Pinoy is an innovative flying minivan that was designed for island hopping across the 7,000 islands in the Philippines.  It's being prototyped and developed.  Here are some key facts:
  • Vehicle is a unique eVTOL that can drive and fly 
  • Attach-detachable airframe that enables the van to fly
  • Powered by hydrogen or electricity
  • Airframe turns the van into a long range, hydrogen powered, cruise capable, vectored thrust eVTOL
  • Being developed by Orlando, FL based LuftCar and Philippine-based eFrancisco Motors Corporation
  • Combines eFrancisco's electric minivan with LuftCar's eVTOL airframe
  • 4 propellers
  • 300-mile flight range and 150-mile range on road
  • 220 mph top air speed
  • Maximum altitude of 4000 feet
  • Autonomous air and road vehicle
  • Vertical takeoff and landing
  • Expected to be flying in prototype form by the end of 2024
  • Aimed at a number of uses like tourism, regional travel, personal travel, ambulance/emergency service, cargo
  • Considered one of the most technologically advanced and robust flying cars under development right now.
SAMSUNG MAY HAVE A WINNER WITH ITS NEW GALAXY RING

  • At the World Mobility Congress in Barcelona, one of the hottest products is Samsung's publicity-shy Galaxy Ring, being developed to take personal health monitoring to the next level. Here's what we know:
  • Samsung's new Galaxy Ring just showed up behind a wall of protective glass at the World Mobility Congress, still shrouded in a lack of facts from Samsung
  • It looks like a wedding ring but it's loaded with monitors on the inside
  • Tracks your heart rate day, night and during sleep
  • Tracks respiratory rate, sleep patterns, regular monthly health cycles and a lot more
  • Helps user discover sleep habits and provides tips to improve
  • Pairs with Galaxy Health app to sync data and provide a vitality score
  • Samsung has not disclosed price, the full functionality and when it will go on sale, but this slim, wearable, smart ring is getting lots of interest
  • Samsung's 1st finger wearable tech device could become available by July.
