And it takes its rugged motif from the new, electric Hummer supertruck.  The HummerBike is a very powerful e-bike. With two hub motors it can hit speeds of 28 mph.   Edition 1 Deliveries of GMC EV Hummer in December 2021                                        Source:  GMC Hummer EV More Editions Coming in 2022 & Beyond GMC's greatly anticipated, all-electric Hummer pickup truck will be delivered to buyers in December 2021.  This is Edition 1, which is a super heavy all-electric pickup truck with a 329-mile range on a charge, according to the company.  December will be the start of Edition 1 deliveries of the heavy EV super truck, despite global delivery disruptions, high energy prices, COVID and big supply chain problems.  This is a great achievement for GM against all global transportation, manufacturing and other business odds. Future Editions of EV Hummer Pickups Edition 1 is a heavy-duty pick-truck and its 329-mile range has not been certified by the EPA.  The next Hummer EVs will be light duty trucks and are expected to get EPA range certifications, which GMC expects to significantly exceed that of Edition 1.   Tech Specs on Edition

  1000 Horsepower All-Electric Truck                                                 Super: GMC Hummer Targeting Tesla's Cybertruck GMC just unveiled its brand new Hummer electric "Super Truck with unprecedented off-road capability".  The EV has three motors that put out 1,000 horsepower.  It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3 seconds. The driving range is 350 miles on a single charge.  And it has a fast charging capability that generates 100 miles of range in ten minutes.  This is GM's first electric pickup truck and it is pricey.  You can reserve the "Edition 1" model which starts at $112,595.  The EV has GMC's most powerful drivetrain.  With the Hummer EV, GM is clearly targeting Tesla's Cybertruck. Electric Goals for 12 New Models on the Market  by 2023 Source:  GM Chevy Bolt EV  Cadillac Leading the Way GM is launching a dozen, brand new, electric vehicles by 2023.  The new EV's are coming from a number of its divisions, including Chevrolet. But,  first and foremost is Cadillac, which for GM is leading the electric, zero emissions driving way of the future. e-SUV's Two Cadillac electric SUV's will be the first to launch, followed by the GMC Hummer electric pickup truck that was teased in an ad during the 2020 Super Bowl. 2023 Next are three more Cadillac EV's and six Chevrolet, Buick or GMC EV's by 2023.  GM's plans were unveiled during a Wall Street analyst meeting in February.  The EV's will join GM's growing lineup of hybrid and all electric vehicles including their all electric bikes, the Meld and the Merge that can be purchased in The Netherlands and Belgium. Sierra HD Makes Truck Trailers Transparent Source:  GMC Sienna HD Transparent Truck Trailer for Safer Towing While Travelling The Sierra HD has an array of 15 cameras to provide wide view, "transparent" navigation, according to GMC.  They have just unveiled this new system which the company says makes for safer towing by creating a transparent truck trailer as seen from the driver's rear view mirrors.  The technology allows the driver to see what behind them. The Difference What's different here about the camera system is there is a trailer mounted camera system that GMC says offers a "transparent trailer view".  The camera is the first installed in a production vehicle.  It makes it a lot easier to park the truck with a large haul in the trailer and travel through narrow spaces. It is new automotive  innovation and just unveiled by GM.
