Gravity Industries' Jet Pack Targets Ship Hijackers                Source:  Gravity Industries Jet Suit in Netherlands Test New Aviation Technology on the Cutting Edge of Saving Lives Seizing control back of a hijacked ship on the high seas is one of the most difficult challenges for global special forces in the fight against terrorism.  They either try rappelling down a rope from a hovering helicopter or use ladders on small boats at night to climb onboard.  Many times, these strategies loose the element of surprise.  Now from a former Royal Marine, Richard Browning who is the CEO of the UK's Gravity Industries, there is a third solution to taking control back from hijackers of a ship on the high seas.  Browning's Jet Suits have the potential to revolutionize counter-terrorism on land and sea. They have just been demonstrated to work by the Dutch Maritime Special Operations Forces in a simulation to board and save a commercial ship in the Netherlands.  It was a proof of

Royal British Navy & Jet Pack Assault Teams                                                                 Source:  Gravity Industries UK's Gravity Industries One of the most intriguing forms of new travel and personal air mobility is jetpacks.  A leading player in the field, Gravity Industries of the UK, has successfully developed jetpacks for individual enthusiasts and adventurers.  The company is now working with the British Royal Navy to adapt the jetpacks for military use.  Specifically, to develop new jet pack military assault teams. The US Navy is also working with the UK company to examine the possibilities of using jetpacks for Navy Seals.  Clearly, the utilization of jetpacks is rapidly expanding. Targeted Goals and Expanding into Emergency Services The intent on the part of the British Royal Navy and the US Navy is to determine how this emerging travel technology could make operations safer for the military and provide a significant technological advantage. Jetpacks Tested for Rescues

Gravity Industries Jetpack Being Tested in the UK                  Source:  Gravity Industries Test Flight for Paramedics Daring Aerial Paramedic Emergency Rescues A jetpack made by Gravity Industries is being tested in the Lake Region of the UK for daring aerial paramedic rescues.  The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS), which is a helicopter emergency medical service, is testing the jetpack to see how sending paramedics in a jetpack to the rescue of victims safely works. New Technology For instance, in a skiing accident on a mountain slope, a jetpack would allow a paramedic rescuer to arrive to the victim in minutes rather than an hour hiking up the slope.  According to the GNAAS Director Andy Mawson, a jetpack rescuer could mean the difference between life and death. Gravity Industries & Its Entrepreneur Gravity Industries of the UK has completed a number of flights in what they call an "iron man" suit and have set speed records with it. The flying paramedics

Jet Engine Powered Flying Suit Source:  Gravity Industries Jet Suit Defying Gravity and Flying On Your On Suit This innovation -The Gravity Flying Suit - has been cited as one of the greatest inventions of 2018. It's a system invented by London based innovator Richard Browning that enables personal flight by 5, mini jet engines placed around the flyer's body.   One is in a backpack and four others are on the hands.  There is speed and a lot of potential including going electric.  For a great news blog on this go to my journalist colleague Ed Kane's blog at  Important Innovations Collection: The Flying Suit - Gravity Jet Suit : Suit with 5 Mini Jet Engines for Flying Source:  Gravity Industries' Jet Suit Dressing for Altitude The Gravity Jet Suit has bee...
