  Expected Big Upgrades to Apple Watch, iPad & New iPhone 12 Source:  Apple Watch 5 Apple Annual September Event Apple's annual September event this Tuesday is called "Time Flies". Appropriately, the company is expected to unveil significant upgrades to the Apple Watch.  Also, experts expect upgrades to the iPad and perhaps an unveiling of the new iPhone 12 with 5 G connectivity. Apple is holding a totally virtual event because of the COVID-19 virus. New Apple Watch? Apple experts are expecting the unveiling of an Apple Watch 6 with its game-changing ECG reader, plus potential new features such as a longer life battery and blood oxygen monitoring.  There also could be a lower cost version, the Apple Watch SE.  For Apple, health monitoring capabilities on the Apple Watch have been a huge seller.  In 2019, Apple sold 31 million Apple Watches which outsold Swiss Watches. Today, Amazon launched three new and upgraded versions of its Fire Tablet.  The new Fire has longer battery life, more storage and faster performance.  The pricing is set at a very competitive level starting at $89.99  The tablet is designed for the whole family with a special version for kids.  It is budget friendly and likely will trigger a new tablet war among tech giants. Redesigning the iPhone Source:  Stock Smartphone image 2020 New Product Launches Despite the global coronavirus pandemic, Apple is moving forward with a number of new products and product modifications. Of most importance, it's redesigning the iPhone this year.  Reports indicate 2, new iPhonePro models with 3 cameras on the back.  And the screens are expected to be slightly larger.  These smart phones will also have new iPodPro's LIDAR,  3-D scanning systems.  There are also reports that the iPhone 11 will be replaced by 2 lower end, 2 camera models. More New Products In the second quarter of 2020, Apple is expected to release a smaller, less expensive HomePod speaker.  There are also expectations of new versions of Apple TV, MacBookPro and a new entry level iPAD.
