Ford Classic Bronco 4X4 Gets a Reboot

  One of the World's Most Coveted 4x4's                                                       Source:  Ford For Off and On-Roading After a 25-year absence, Ford is bringing back its 4x4 classic Bronco. It's coming back as a family of SUVs not just as a model.  Sales started last year but the interest level in the vehicles continues to build.  The newest model is the Bronco Sport.  The new Broncos have rugged, off-roading good looks, hefty, all-terrain tires, very bold front grills and prominent fender flares.  All the doors are removable, and a removable hardtop can also be purchased for extra fun in the sun. Standard Broncos The standard Bronco is the 4x4's 6th generation and can be driven off-road, on-road, on city streets and highways.  The new Bronco Sport is a compact crossover, built on the same platform as the Explorer SUV, so it is particularly geared to commuting suburbanites.  The Sport has all-wheel drive and contains 5 doors.  The Broncos come with either a

  Musk Talks of  "New Form Factors" in New Designs Source:  Tesla Tesla to Customize Models for International Markets Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who is a notorious big tease, told an online European Conference on Batteries audience this week that he is excited about designing new electric cars that will have "new form factors".  Musk said that to attract top talent to Tesla, he must provide them the big opportunity that they crave - to work on new, original car model designs. Gigafactories in Berlin and Shanghai Musk says  he is really excited about new design concepts which will be originating from his gigafactories in Shanghai and Berlin.  In Berlin, he expects to develop a compact electric car model, likely a hatchback, to cater to the preferences of European drivers for smaller, green cars. Next-G, Helicopter Command Post Source:  Airbus Website Helicopter Travel's Future:  The H145 Flying Computer This is one of the world's most advanced military helicopters and it's still being developed to include more next-G technology.  The Airbus H145 is a multi-role helicopter that essentially functions as a flying computer.  Designed for the military, it's being developed and outfitted as a flying command post.  Airbus says it can be used for armed reconnaissance, weapons fire support, evacuation of the wounded and to rescue hostages.  C5 Capabilities Airbus is focused on expanding the vehicle's C5 capabilities, including command, control, communications, computers and collaboration/intelligence.  The H145 is a look at the future of military helicopter travel in battle zones. Brand New, Innovative Technologies The Airbus helicopter is a light, twin engine vehicle.  It can maneuver at low level altitudes where fixed wing aircraft and UAVs cannot.
